I’m thrilled to share some exciting news… I’ve signed up to be a vendor at the Holiday Market in Port Royal, SC this November! This is my very first time selling my handmade paper crafts at an in-person market, and I’m taking you along with me for the ride.
If you’ve ever dreamed of setting up your own craft booth or just love seeing what goes into it, this post is for you! Whether you’re a seasoned maker or new to the vendor scene, I’m sharing my process, products, and tips that you can use too.

🎁 Why I Signed Up for a Holiday Market
There’s just something magical about local holiday events. People are in the mood to shop, looking for heartfelt gifts, and I wanted to bring my handmade creations—cards, mini scrapbooks, stocking stuffers, and DIY kits—to a community of shoppers who appreciate the handmade touch.
I also wanted a challenge—a creative goal to work toward that would push me to plan, batch, and build a collection I’m proud of.
✂️ What I’m Making
Here’s a peek at what I’m preparing:
- Holiday greeting cards (batched in sets for gifting!)
- Interactive scrapbooks & folios for memory keeping
- Stocking stuffer bundles like tags, stickers, and mini notebooks
- Coloring Sheets and Stickers for kids and adults—great for holiday break fun!
If it’s pretty, paper-based, and joyful—you’ll find it at my booth!
🛍️ Planning Ahead: How I’m Getting It All Done
I’m documenting my journey every week on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube so you can follow along! Here’s what I’m doing to stay on track:
1. Batching Like a Pro
Instead of making one item at a time, I’m creating cards and elements in batches. It saves time, helps me focus, and ensures I have cohesive sets to sell.
2. Filming Content Along the Way
You’ll see behind-the-scenes footage, supply hauls (like my Dollar Tree Haul), and even some “Craft With Me” sessions as I prep inventory. One filming session = multiple content pieces. Win!
3. Organizing My Craft Space
To make production smoother, I’ve been streamlining my space with affordable storage solutions. (Don’t miss my Friday “Budget-Friendly Craft Organization” series in Stories!)
4. Designing a Booth Display
From table layouts to product signs (hello mini chalkboards!), I’m thinking through every detail of how I want my booth to look and feel.

💡 Thinking About Doing a Market Yourself?
Here are some quick tips to help you get started:
- Start with a small market (community or holiday-themed is perfect!)
- Choose 3–4 product categories that fit your style and time
- Price your items ahead of time and create simple signage
- Practice setting up your table at home to avoid surprises
- Most importantly… give yourself grace—this is a learning process!
👉 Join Me on the Journey
I’ll be sharing weekly updates leading up to the market across my channels:

Follow along on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube—I’d love to have you there cheering me on. And if you’re preparing for a market yourself, I hope my journey helps you feel encouraged and ready to dive in.
Here’s to a handmade holiday season,
